The annual reports of the Department summarize activities and accomplishments in both narrative and statistical form. Included are reports from the various divisions: Institutional Services, consisting of the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center, the Chalkville Campus, Mt. Meigs Campus, the Vacca Campus, and the Intensive Treatment Unit; Group Homes, involving Bell Road, Gadsden, and Troy State; the Advocacy Unit; the Regional Community Services Division; Development and Information Services; the School District; and the Support Operations Division; and reports of the Board; a directory of departmentally licensed or operated facilities; financial statements; and a directory of Board members, with photographs. Tables, graphs, and charts give demographic, social, and educational data on commitments, recidivism rates, referral reasons, and youth served. Photographs illustrate the reports.
